Celebrating 150 years saving lives at sea

 

 

 

 

  On 25 September the Lord Mayor of Cork City, Cllr. Brian Bermingham, visited Ballycotton Lifeboat Station to meet the lifeboat crew.

 

 

 

On Sunday 28 September an official ceremony was held on Ballycotton Pier to recognise the efforts of past and present volunteers.  A vellum was presented by Mr. Terence Johnson, RNLI Deputy Chairman to LOM, John Tattan, on behalf of Ballycotton Lifeboat Station.  Visiting crews also made presentations on behalf of their lifeboat stations.
